My dad was at Lakeview for about a month after his surgery on the 300 unit. His care from all the nurses, CNAs, PT, OT, house keeping, CM, and especially Dan with speech, and all the RT were absolutely amazing! Thank you so much for treating him as he was one of your own family members.

After having been at Lakeview for a few months, we’ve seen great improvements in many areas. These are just a few of the changes we’ve made. We’re excited to continue identifying other avenues of improvement to give better quality of life to our residents. •We have 24/7 respiratory therapy coverage now. •We’ve completed an equipment update in our kitchen to ensure better quality meals that are delivered in insulated carts to improve temperatures. •We’ve updated our security system for better peace of mind for our residents and their loved ones. •We’ve hired more nursing staff to improve consistency of cares. •We’ve partnered with a new Medical Director who has better access to our patients at local hospitals to give more continuity of care. •We will be starting a project to replace all carpet in the facility with a better flooring alternative. As always, we continue to seek feedback (good or bad) so we can make improvements. I would welcome any conversation with residents and visitors to learn more about what they would like to see improved!

For anyone looking for a care facility for their family Lakeview has been an amazing facility! Their staff is great, the building is well maintained, and management takes genuine interest in the residents and their families. It’s been a pleasure working with this team and I wouldn’t place my loved ones anywhere else!

The business offices staff is a joke! They don’t return phone call’s and when you do get ahold of them they seem clues. The residents should be able to get there own money when they want it, however these ladies are normal gone before 3:30pm Monday – Friday. My love one goes to the business office at least once a week to get there money and it’s never available. Lori will say I need to go to the bank. I don’t know how many times she here’s this.

Treatment at this facility is beyond poor. Medication not given at correct times. Food when brought out is cold. No dinner given to my loved one at all on 8-1-2025. When staff is asked for assistance, none is given or attitude is given in return. Call lights not being answered and when they are, they are answered 4 hrs later. The is apparent little to no concern shown for the patients. Staff gave the statement of ” if you don’t like it here, you can leave”. So to be clear. These daily events are being notated and documented. The poor treatment and lack of professionalism is beyond ridiculous. I need to be contacted ASAP pertaining to this matter. Phones are not being answered, no matter what time you call. To be continued further if need be.

Don’t bring your love ones here unless you’ve written there will and said your goodbyes. This place is where call lights go to die. You could press that button with your last breath and they’d still ignore you like you owed them money. Need water? Good luck. Need meds? Keep dreaming. Try calling the facility? Might as well call the moon—you’ll get a faster response. It’s a circus in here, but the clowns forgot they’re supposed to care for humans, not haunt them.. Can’t wait for my dad rehab is over. Read the reviews people,

Good Morning butterbread, I’m sorry to hear that these things are happening to your love one. The management team and staff take pride in caring for each and every patient/resident here at Lakeview Post Acute. I wish you would reach out to the facility so, we could set up a care conference to address your concern or issue that you have on behalf of your dad. Unfortunately we can’t fix what we don’t know. If you would like to call the facility 314-831-3752 and reach out to social services, we can help you find a different placement for rehab for your love one. Thank you, Management Team

WARNING: If you ever want to see your loved one again, do NOT send them to this facility. This place is a nightmare dressed as a care center. The staff don’t care about your family member’s health, safety, or dignity—they care about ONE thing: a paycheck. Compassion? Nowhere to be found. Accountability? Nonexistent. Call lights go unanswered for hours. Medication schedules? Completely ignored. If your loved one needs medication at a certain time—good luck. You’d better pray nothing serious happens while they wait, because the neglect here is so severe, it’s as if they’re being set up to die slowly and silently. If a resident dares to speak up or express discomfort, the staff’s response? “If you don’t like it, you can leave.” The audacity to say that to someone elderly, vulnerable, and often bedbound is absolutely disgusting. The staff are unprofessional, rude, and clearly burned out or never belonged in healthcare to begin with. Phones don’t get answered. Families are kept in the dark. The basic human decency you’d expect for someone’s grandparent, parent, or spouse doesn’t exist here. This place needs to be investigated, exposed, and shut down immediately. These are people’s lives, not numbers in a budget or names on a room chart. If you’re considering this place for your loved one, RUN. Don’t walk. To management: Do better—or get out of healthcare entirely. This is beyond unacceptable. It’s criminal.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident The bright spots at Lakeview are the therapists (PT, OT, and speech) as well as Devin and Mirissa. Other than these people, there is little to recommend at this facility. My mother was here for rehab, but it felt like she was in a nursing home. Of course, Lakeview actually is a nursing home as well as a rehab center, but the quality of care there depressed my mom – as if she was going to be there forever. (The only good thing about this was that it motivated her to do whatever it took to get out of there.) Most troubling about the care was the delayed response time after pressing her assistance button. It often took over an hour for someone to come. If someone there had an emergency, they would be long dead before anyone noticed. This is not only sad, but dangerous. Because of this, I would only recommend Lakeview to someone coming for outpatient therapy, nothing else.

My husband was there. He was neglected. He can’t talk and move . They left him without water and food. Sometimes the food tube drains on him😭it was hell for him. I have to talk to many people to get his attention. After all his stuff was stolen ( phone, holy oil, massage products). They have to review the nurses and the CNAs. Only the housekeeper works great.

My experience with Lakeview Post Acute was the the best for my condition, motivation, and window of time allowed by insurance to be mobile. The Therapy staff here is exceptional. Professionals driven by their patients success. Interns were there learning from the best while I was there. The nursing staff there did a great job in my opinion as my care was met. And I was amazed from day 1 the staff every single one of them knew me by name and and addressed me with a smile. It was a great place for me for me to level up in my recovery! I can’t thank these great ladies and gentlemen for there love and support I experienced enough. Thank you! Much Love!♡☆
